We got this for the winter months as my son woke up wheezing and coughing. For its small and compact size, it works WONDERFUL. Despite its size, it is very powerful and also functions as a night light. It has really helped the air in his room and he wakes up symptom free during the dry winter months and it works just as well as the more expensive, larger versions! Cotton water filters are great and easy to install. I love this item and will probably buy another one for my room!

Very quiet. As you can see in the photos, the fog comes from above on either side or one side or the other. You can also turn on a light that illuminates the floor like a night light if you want. I bought this because of the very high mAh in the battery AND the increased mist flow! I can't remember what the description said, but it was the best I've found in my extensive searches. The other mini humidifier pictured in the video clip is pretty good, but I noticed that it would turn off intermittently and then turn back on by itself. I originally gave this unit 5 stars because I liked that it was portable and worked great initially. I only use it in winter when the air is very dry. To be honest I've only turned it on maybe 30 times and found that it won't hold a charge and just looks and sounds very worn out.
