forget the 5 year warranty

I bought the 65 watt version of this first. I have a 48W cabinet light that I installed with. It worked fine for 2 months and then broke down completely. I decided to try the 120w version thinking it might work better. Again it worked briefly and then didn't work either. As the Revain warranty had expired I was forced to look for a manufacturer. for 5 years guarantee. It was impossible to contact her. Low Voltage Kitchen Transformer

The product works as advertised and I highly recommend it. As mentioned, one downside is removing the orange caps on each end, which isn't easy. I bought transformers to light up the LED washers in the kitchen cabinet. Although one transformer could handle the load, I bought two so I could light each closet separately. Works well and after removing the covers it's easy to install!

I had a big, heavy 24 volt halogen transformer that made changing the LED bulbs in my track lights "sing". This stopped it and increased the range of the fader. It is small and easy to install even with no instructions other than the diagram on the top of the device. If you can't figure it out, you probably shouldn't install it yourself! My only concern is removing the end caps. (orange parts) They don't have a release latch and you have to use a screwdriver to pry them up to take them off…
