where is the rainbow

Expected a wide range of bright colors. Instead, I got a little blur where neither I nor my grandson could distinguish between specific colors.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Useless for school lessons

It is of such poor quality that it does not split the light into the full spectrum. All you get is a thin red/orange stripe on one end and a thin blue/purple stripe on the other end, with nothing in between. The money was wasted and there was no demonstration today.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Compatibility

Good for science school lessons

The packaging was excellent as was the delivery time. The quality of the glass showed no defects. I took 2 stars off the rating just because I couldn't shine and display rainbows as wide as advertised and there were no instructions.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Didn't work as well as expected.

I expected the glass to be thicker. I bought 2 prisms to show my students in class how white light breaks up into different colors in the visible spectrum, but it doesn't. well, one more thing. I don't know if this has anything to do with size or quality, but another prism I bought (from another company) worked amazingly.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Good for those wanting to create a reflection/flare effect for photography

Really fragile but a good buy for those wanting to achieve the Brandon Wofel look for photography. To learn how light works, this is a great learning tool. I was lucky when I received it my device was in perfect condition but when I put it in my camera bag it broke. I didn't drop my bag or make any sudden movements. So I have 2 parts of the prism that can still be used for photography.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
