Optimus H 7004 Portable Ceramic Thermostat Review

Used to keep RV slides warm and dry when not in use. The lower power setting is enough to get the job done and saves a lot of power compared to the 1500W unit we used previously.

In July I brought 4 fans to the office. Now only 2 work from time to time. They are still under the manufacturer's "warranty" but why would I pay to ship a crappy fan only to get another crappy one in return?

This heater has worked great for heating my office! I agree if you need a heater for a larger area then this heater probably isn't for you. However, it does an excellent job of heating my office (about 10ft by 12ft). I would recommend it!

I don't understand this nonsense. It turns on for a minute or two and then turns off as if it's reached the temperature on the thermostat. At this point it will not turn back on. The light turns on to show there's power, but there's no heat or fan unless it's unplugged and plugged back in. Unfortunately I bought it at the end of the cold season and haven't used it until recently, so it's too late to return it.

I love this heater. I bought it for my office because it's cold all year round. It stays on all the time, which is what I want, unlike other heaters that turn off after a few minutes. I previously bought one that did just that and I sent it back. I don't know how well it will work in the bedroom etc because I'm using it in a large office. It throws warmth on my legs and feet and gives me a comfortable and warm feeling. If I decide I'm too hot, I turn it off. Highly recommended for office use.

I was so lazy. I read many reviews before purchasing this heater. This particular heater didn't have many reviews but from what I read on Revain.com Optimus is a great brand and this heater was very affordable. I've only had it 3 months and I saw a small flame and heard a click (it sounded like insect repellent) and quickly turned it off. Of course this exceeded the Revain return policy so waste of money! I bought one on August 10th. He only worked occasionally, mostly not. Replacement on 22.08. The new one had issues but both worked fine until the first one stopped working on September 3rd so I boxed it up for a return. The next day, the replacement stopped working all morning and then started working again. Ordered a replacement from Revain, a DIFFERENT BRAND. I have a double walled bedroom in a creaky farmhouse. It gets colder than the rest of the house even if I have a low speed fan pulling air into the room from the main part of the house. On the coldest nights, I turn this heater on just before bed. The room is quite small. On a lower setting but high temperature if I leave the heating on for a few hours with the door closed the room gets too warm and when I need to heat up faster I use a higher setting. and that works too.
