Don't believe the marketing hype - there are better projectors

EDIT: After a few months and every time I enable HDR I get horrible artefacts. Disconnect and return to SDR and they're gone. I thought it might just be a content issue, but after testing games, Blu-ray and streaming content, and a few input devices and cables, it was clear something was wrong. Even with the latest Roku flash drive plugged directly into the projector, there are bad artifacts. Honestly I would like to return it. Pros: • You get reasonably crisp 4K images • It supports 3D • Low…

Expensive, noisy 4K projector with flaws and poor black levels

First bought as a used Revain product and it had issues but it doesn't get downgraded in this test. However, it had a yellow tint on the left side of the screen and kept losing signal from the HDMI source. Image Quality 8-10 Image is very clear, icons, text, colors look very clear. I am using a 106 inch screen from about 8 feet away and compared to my Benq Ht2150ST projector which is a 1080P 60Hz projector the difference is very clear. You'll see 4K clarity at that distance, but probably not as

You can get away with calling it 4K because there are at least eight million pixels on the screen. You need a "native 4K projector". They are all expensive, with the cheapest as of 11/2020 costing around $5,000. Every "4K" projector in this price range ($1,000 to $3,000) uses a form of mirroring called pixel shifting. The online…
