Wasteful, difficult-to-open packaging

Oral-B (Proctor and Gamble), despite selling online, opted for huge, polluting and difficult to open anti-theft plastic packaging. Probably half the plastic used in this product is just meant to be thrown in the bin with no useful function. The toothbrush heads themselves are fine, if a bit overpriced (hence the anti-theft packaging). But the packaging (not the shipping container but the packaging of the product itself) is ridiculous. The package can easily hold more than 30 toothbrush heads…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Ignore what you heard - spit, don't swallow.

If "FlossAction" means the bristles break in your mouth and you have to gently pull them between your teeth, then it does the job perfectly. I mean, seriously, every time I start brushing my toothbrush, more and more bristles break off in my mouth. So there is good news and bad news. The bad news is I bought a pack of 5 so I have 4 spare heads left. The good news is, at the rate I'm going through this first one, they'll all be worn out by the end of the month.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Effective brushes, disgusting packaging!

We have been using these brushes for several years now and always get compliments from our dentists at our 6 month dental check-ups. So the brushes themselves get 5 stars. But this is the first time I've ordered more than 2 or 3 packs of these (because of the huge and inexplicable price spike! What's up with *the*?) and was blown away by the incredibly lavish packaging! At a time when we all need to reduce waste, especially plastic, this is unforgivable. Do it better, P&G! Do without plastic…

Wasteful and useless packaging

Real jets are fine; they are just toothbrushes. However, the packaging is ridiculous. At least 4 times more hard-to-hit cardboard and plastic, and each head is double-bagged! Wasteful and stupid.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Ridiculous packaging, good product

Great product but it comes with the most wasteful FUN packaging. In the sealed jumbo box, each nozzle is packed in a separate sealed bag.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • So far so good

Good deal, strange packaging

I've been using Oral B for 5 years now. I really prefer their interchangeable heads. I bought regular ones but I feel like they wear out quicker. But they came in a strange packaging. They're all next to each other on a flat sheet of plastic and it seems pretty wasteful. So most likely won't be buying it again because of the packaging.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Problems

Really good for toothbrushes and accessories

I have a terrible problem with plaque so I go to the dentist every 3 months for cleaning. I've always used small round heads and then I decided to try these. Oh god, big difference to me. The head is larger, so it not only cleans the tooth, but also the gums, where plaque accumulates. The bristles are different lengths and I think that makes them more effective too. I went back to the round head for two weeks and noticed a big difference, so I went back to those flossed heads. I still floss a…

Vulgar new packaging, huge and all plastic

Aside from the fact that a brush head costs around $6, the new packaging is just gross. As you can see from the photo, it's huge (9.5 x 11 inches), but what's even worse is that the ALL packaging is covered in a layer of clear plastic (similar to the plastic in the clamshell packaging ). Photo, how much space do real brushes take up (maybe 5%?). It is clearly an unethical decision by Proctor & Gamble to simply gobble up and take up as much shelf space as possible in the toothbrush section of…

Cons
  • Big and bulky

These are real things!

I have asked many questions as to whether some of the cheaper attachments were genuine Oral B. I have received replies from many people affirming this. These tips are not original Oral B. They are original. First, Proctor & Gamble makes them, which is why you see the P&G brand on the packaging. Also, these attachments actually say "Oral B" under the bristles. Having bought many of these cheaper brush heads claiming to be Oral B original I can tell you they don't do the job that well, the…
