Oral-B iO Series 6 Electric Toothbrush in Black Onyx - Great product! The listing incorrectly states that there are two heads, which only applies to the 7 series toothbrush on the same page. It seems like a much better buy as it's currently only $2 more than the single-head Series 6. However, this upgraded design from Oral-B is a massive improvement in both form and function over the old ones we have. The heads are radically different from the old Oral-B electric toothbrushes we have for the…

Cleans well but not an expensive head

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my wife, to replace an old set of Oral-B electric toothbrushes. Our previous toothbrushes were at least five years old and my wife's brush battery didn't last more than a minute or so before it died. These iO Series 6 brushes are nicer than what they replaced and even clean differently. My teeth are smooth and clean after every 2 minute brushing. I was able to achieve that with our old kit, but I usually had to brush my teeth for four minutes or…

Prefer an unmanaged, application-managed session. More work needed

Summary: An entry-level Oral-B iO Series model with a new brush head connection and motion-producing design with the same intensity as the Sonicare. The brush head is chunky, which is not suitable for small mouths. It can clean my wisdom teeth a little better in intensive mode than my Sonicare. Average battery drain of 5% to 6% for a 2 minute 30 second brushing session in intensive mode. At least one week of battery life, cleaning twice a day in intensive mode. The app is optional and I think a

An improvement over traditional electric

I've been using Oral-B iO for about a year now? Since the release of the first model. Hands down the best toothbrush ever. My teeth always feel great after brushing and I always feel like I'm getting a deep clean. When I saw this new version, I immediately had to buy it for my son. He recently had braces and his Philips children's electric toothbrush doesn't fit well enough. This brush made a big difference that is actually visible. There's no more smudging around the gumline, nothing sticks…

That's great. but I prefer Sonicare for three reasons

If you don't have a modern electric toothbrush, you need one. is 20,000 pulses per minute or more. I would guess it is in that range. Oral B's standard electric toothbrush is $39. For an additional $100, this one offers 5 settings and a bluetooth connection to your phone so you can customize the toothbrush settings on your phone. I find this feature a bit silly. Another added feature is a red light that lights up when it thinks you're brushing too hard. This is also a feature I don't find…
