Works great!: Welding and soldering

Thing works great. It took me a minute to realize that it was blinking blue to let you know it was cold, bright red when heated, and solid blue when it had cooled. This thing is great and way cheaper than others out there.

The best way to fix cracked plastic!

product worked great! He sewed an $800 piece of plastic and became stronger than he originally was. The only downside was that if you sew a big long yarn it overheats and you have to let it cool down. I think they should have incorporated vents to keep it cooler.

Really does the job

I was glad I chose this tool. In practical use, it is extremely manoeuvrable. I used it to fix a piece of plastic in the cabin following the instructions that came with the kit. worked better than expected and after the staples were flush cut and the surface prepped I added a top coat of flexible epoxy to finish the job which worked well and looks great when loaded.

Works best when welding and soldering

Works great! It's worth the money and comes with many different types of staples. I've used it on everything from bumpers to headlamp bracket bolts. It creates a strong bond if you fill in the plastic with a hot knife after the clip has been inserted into the plastic. I have no complaints about this tool and would buy it again if something happens to it.

Amazing Welding System Tool

This item is great for plastics where glue just won't cut it. You have to be careful not to go all the way through the hot clamp and you have to wait about 30 seconds for the plastic to cool enough to pull the tool out. It will overheat after a while, I probably made about 30-40 staples before it got too hot so put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and then carry on. A must for anyone who can do it themselves.

Check the sensors when they arrive - mine didn't have any clamp holes on either side.

I bought this to fix some vintage car fans and my truck dashboard. I didn't bother to get started until the return window closed. When I first started using the hot stapler, I noticed that only one of the two probes had a hole to insert the staple. I was able to fix the dashboard, but I'll either have to drill a new hole or disassemble the unit to see if the sensor was installed upside down (and if so, I'll have to drill and cut a hole for the plug screw). I can just connect a new brass tubeโ€ฆ
