Ordered this to replace my daughter's crib for Christmas 2014. Now I can say it worked great purchase and no visible damage (even when my 3 year old jumped on the boards even without a mattress) i'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the pink paint is peeling off in various places after only 2 months bed and i expect it repainted and passed on to my next child once they are big enough.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Very expensive

nice and HUGE for our 17 month old

Assembly wasn't that bad, took about 45 minutes. The bed is really firm to sit and lie on. I am a big 200 lb dad and I read to my daughter comfortably at night when she is in bed. The only downside is that a toddler (or more likely an older sibling) in bed will start kicking the side rails with their feet. They're not skinny, but I could kick them off with my feet if I wanted to. The bed provides adequate protection for children who move around while they sleep, but may not be good enough forโ€ฆ

Durable, affordable and aesthetically pleasing

Bought for daughter for Christmas 2013; it fits perfectly in her room, she loves it and it withstands the punishment of toddlers. We don't let them jump on it BUT it happened as a toddler haha. So far the bed is in great condition. Easy to assemble but allow at least an hour. I also LOVE that she has railings on BOTH sides so I'm not limited in placing her in her room. If you're looking for something enduring, yet simple, modern and charming, this is the bed. We don't care about too many frills

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

it was sturdy and good looking

because it was solid when assembled and looked good. The problem was "putting everything together". I don't recommend this bed for someone who doesn't like the drill or Jenga game as I had to re-drill the holes in line with the center slat and the rest of the slat setup was a tedious balancing effort until you get the ends screwed. The holes on the railing do not line up with the brackets. This is a manufacturing defect. What I did was loosen the brackets and then use a 1/4 bit bit to re-drillโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handsfree

  • I gave 4 stars to the old

Too light, slips everywhere

Bought for my little ones, both are about 30 pounds. These beds are very light and too easy to move! Even screwed to the wall, they came loose - they're so light! The mattress does not hold securely and slides out immediately. My kids could put these beds on their side and climb on them (which was dangerous, so the beds are in my garage now). I can't recommend this for mobile toddlers. Maybe for a 6 or 7 year old who knows better, but until then they might be sleeping in a bunk bed. Assemblyโ€ฆ

Great bed, great price!

At 21 months my baby started to crawl out of the crib. At first we thought we'd move it to the double bed we already had in stock, but it seemed like a big jump and I was worried it wouldn't fall out. Bed rails are also so expensive so I did a quick search for cribs and was shocked to find this one. I think we paid $59 no shipping? At that price I didn't feel guilty about buying a 'temporary' bed or buying it pink. The bed is super cute, a lovely soft pink color that matches the much moreโ€ฆ

Overall Fairly Excellent

Overall I like this crib. There are a few things that aren't exactly my favorite, but for the price, they're not a huge issue. Pros: - Sturdy cot - Lovely light pink color - Not obtrusive but nice for a little girl - Easy (theoretically) to assemble - Flat edges (not like a sleigh bed) that can be pushed straight up against the wall without any gaps Cons; - Assembly was tricky - the slats kept slipping out and it took me over 15 minutes to arrange everything - The bottom line is just levelingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not Bad
