The vacuum cleaner was for my sister - I bought another brand of vacuum cleaner but it was too big and heavy for her I returned it. . My sister's previous vacuum was an Oreck and she wanted that brand and now she is happy with the new Oreck.

I previously had an Oreck xl21 for almost 15 years. I liked it but it just wore out. Instead of repairing (which I could have done), I simply opted for an exchange. The Oreck Elevate Command is even better than the XL21. He will never have anything but Oreck. He's worth every penny.

There are three steps to operate the vacuum cleaner. Mixing, suction and air supply. This vacuum cleaner has all three. I gave it four stars for maneuverability just because it doesn't have a swivel. It is quiet compared to most other vacuum cleaners. But not as quiet as Miele.

They don't do anything like that, including this oreck. I had my original Oreck for 15 years before it ran out. The new one just doesn't fit. The wheel fell off the first time I used it so I sent it back and bought it again. wheels creaking! Cleans well but I doubt it will last more than a few years. Just not the quality of my original Orek.

We used to have an Oreck but when Oreck moved away from Paramus we decided to give Hoover a try. Big mistake! We only endured it for 9 months and couldn't take it anymore. Back to Orek and excited. The superlatives are missing. The only small issue so far (1 month) is the knob which tightens with a twist lock, has been unscrewed twice but this time we think we tightened it properly. I just want Orek back in Paramus, New Jersey.

I have been using Oreck vacuums for 25 years now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I have a house cleaning service and I always buy regular Oreck vacuums, not commercial Oreck cleaners. This vacuum is the worst of the worst. It's like sliding a concrete block over most of the carpets we clean. I only found out when it was too late to return that it has a belt that is permanent (no change required), what a joke. I've been using it for a little over a month and the belt barely turns the hammer…
