A story only about pure products for our bodies, even from China? Ouch!

This product has a nice story on the packaging - something about only clean products to put in the body. But the fine print indicates that this beetroot powder originated in China. Is that some kind of contradiction? Most companies buy in China to save money. So we have a story about organic products for our bodies and then we look to China. I've never been to China, but I read that there are pollution problems. Isn't there another contradiction here?

It's packaged well, which is important for something that's beetroot-colored and hard to hold like a powder. It was packaged in a resealable bag in a light box in a shipping carton.
