Great cotton filling!

This is my ultimate filler choice for my quilted plushies. It's easy to compress, so it can be a little tricky to sew, but it's also easy to stretch into fluff. The animals feel fluffy and soft. Best of all I had 3 animals left from a bag and it barely had a dent left.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Bad Impression

Not a good repurchase

When I first bought it it was clean, fluffy and barely had a piece of plant in the whole bag. Second time I bought it and the whole pound of cotton was filled with plant bits! Looks like they brought it straight from the farm. I may have to find something else to stuff my dolls with. Total $25 spent.

  • cool product

Nice item but needs washing

I wanted organic cotton as it will be next to my face. He smelled of chemicals. I contacted the company and all they said (via email) was that the smell was probably coming from the plastic bag. satisfied as a customer

Pros
  • Well built

Pure Cotton: Sew

After discovering there was an odd, matted, earthy filler in my dog bed pillow, I started looking for something organic. I found this and not only did it work for changing the material in the pillow, but I will keep this or something similar in mind for replacing the foam inserts when I have upholstered furniture.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Fits

This organic cotton has exceeded all expectations. As described, it arrived fairly clean, fluffy and soft. Any litter (mentioned in another review) was minimal. I've used it to make very comfy pillows (for sleeping, not decorating) for which cotton wool is perfect. The staff at Organic Cotton Plus were friendly and helpful so I will definitely be back for any other cotton needs.

Pros
  • Please note: not supplied as a whole sheet.
Cons
  • A few little things

Avoid crappy polyester fillers. This is the winner!

Glad I found this product. I knit animals and hate polyester batting - always felt cheap and unworthy of the work I put into making my knitted dragons, monkeys etc. For some products, no granules are required - cotton wool is often enough, which is always a pleasure to work with. Can be fluffy or tight as you like. It's also a lot more than I originally thought. Good product. Glad I took the risk.

Pros
  • Organic cotton wadding/filling
Cons
  • Available in white only

Lumpy/Smelly/Unpeeled

Bought this to re-stuff my daughter's favorite bear for her birthday. First, it's beautiful. But that's where the good news ends. Immediately after opening the package I noticed a strange smell that can be normal for new cotton and it was full of junk. I stuffed the bear with a stuffed animal and decided to wash it to get rid of the smell. Well all it did was thicken and get very heavy. I may have stuffed it a bit, but even after several drying cycles it remains clumpy. I even put shoes and…

Pros
