Not sure if the size has changed or what, but for a 2.5" HDD or SSD they are too big and leave plenty of room for that Drive to find room in Material and construction seems good for the price, but the size makes it a pretty poor option for protecting bare drives.

While not as strong as some other hard cases bought, they work well. They fit in my WD Passport 2TB and 4TB. 4TB cable storage works but needs some distribution. The spine feels a bit flimsy, but with proper use this shouldn't be a problem. It's a bit longer than others so my Clickfree 500GB (4 5/8") has an extra 1/2" to 3/4" extra space if your drive is longer. Bought 5 packs because of the price. Good product for the price level.

Seems like a good case but each of the pairs I've bought had major problems with the zipper. The case materials looked okay, so it's possible they both came from a bad production run where the case cover was too flimsy, causing the zippers to fail. If they're all like that, they really aren't worth money. Sent them both back before I even put anything in them.

I'm so glad I found this! I was looking for another external hard drive case and came across this one - there are 5 in a 5 pack in different colors. They came in a small box. and individually boxed. My Toshiba drive fits perfectly and there is room on the other side for a cable. The zips open and close well and I didn't notice any real odor. I don't really need it for transport, just a storage case. With colors I can easily see which ones I need and I have 2 other extras.
