Okay, just don't use it with steel pedals

Don't use it with steel pedals, they cut through those alloy crank threads like butter. There's nothing more painful/scary than having your pedal come off in the middle of a busy street while pedaling with power to avoid traffic. Pretty sure he bruised his hip bone.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Nice though. in Sport

Good value for money. Installed and driven. Since then no problems. It's hard to disagree. However, this is a Lasco crank that has been rebranded and received a fairly hefty price hike. The forged Lasco logo is still on the crank and it won't take you more than a few minutes to realize that this crank is being sold for half the price it's being asked for here.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Poor quality, broke immediately

Broke on first light use. The pedal fell off while driving. I looked inside and removed all the steps. When I put it back in I chipped a ton of paint all over the place where the pedal goes in so I felt like I couldn't get it back. I ended up using the chain and old cranks again. I don't know if it was a one time thing but I don't think I will be using this brand again.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Killer Cranks.: Transmission Components

Pretty good grips for $$$. Arrived quickly and was well packaged. The fit was perfect. Came off a 44mm star so I had to order a new chain. Not faulty as I would replace the chain anyway. This crankset replaced the beach cruiser crankset. I bent one when I climbed the Super Tier. I never knew you could do this. Anyway, a substitute for dynamite. Much nicer than in the photo. Definitely recommend. However, this is only a male opinion.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

Lasko under any other name remains Lasko.

Nice connecting rod but slightly disappointed in the fact that it is packaged and sold as an Origin8 connecting rod with the Lasco name clearly stamped on the inside of both connecting rods. If I wasn't in such a hurry to build this bike I would have sent them back and ordered the Lasco version for less money. Still, they fit my '97 Gary Fisher Wahoo single speed conversion project well and look nice. Installation was easy and they are clearly marked with recommended torque values for the crank

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

cool crank! fit for sport

I've got this for a speed I've been working on for months (Takara 58cm 10 speed 1980. It's fast). It fits great but you have to make sure you put it on a new bottom bracket and not an old 80's style bottom bracket like mine, it helps align the chain. pedals on! Why BMX Pedals? Well I like to ride in sandals and it gives me more leg room. I have big feet ok and that's a cool baby thing + I still had that in stock! Any bike lube will take care of cranky cranks for a while, but it comes back every

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
