Original 3D Crystal Puzzle Bird Puzzles Review

The bird is one of the easiest puzzles to hold. The branch is quite difficult as it is very heavy and tends to fall. otherwise it's a cute little bird to put on a shelf or mantle.

This is a crystal puzzle. If they are new to you, they are all similar and very fun. This one holds together a little better than the others and was quite difficult to put together. Great gifts for jigsaw puzzle lovers.

It was a lot of fun, fairly easy but still a nice challenge, I started at the tail and went down so I finished his belly first and then went to the neck and head . I was actually surprised by the size, I was expecting the bird to be a bit smaller but I like it. I really like the color, I was worried the blue would be a bit overpowering but it's not, pure blue and absolutely beautiful! It took me about 45 minutes, maybe an hour, to complete this.

Bought this blue bird for my 11 year old daughter. She had a lot of fun assembling it with the help of her older sister. I printed out the instructions from the website but the daughters preferred to build without if not stuck. The finished bird looks very beautiful and has not fallen apart. I also got a dachshund puzzle as a present for a girl for her birthday. She has a real dachshund and was so happy about this puzzle. She also loves puzzles in general and enjoys them a lot.

For those of you who made it easy, kudos! It was very difficult for me but I really enjoyed it! The lack of instructions just added to the fun, although there is a web address on the box where you can find the full instructions (I haven't tested this though). I estimate I spent 8 hours a day assembling this little gem and the end product is amazing and worth seeing. In fact, I liked it so much that I ordered three more! I became addicted. I highly recommend these puzzles.

Very cute and brighter blue than I thought from the picture in the ad. The bird is bigger than I expected and it is very bright. It looks very nice on a stick that is part of the puzzle. I had a bit of trouble holding all the finished pieces to secure the post at the end, but managed with some fuss. It was a lot of fun and a good challenge from the original 3D series. We love birds and puzzles so this is the perfect combination of our interests.

It took me about 3 days to complete this without instructions because jigsaw puzzles are a challenge to be mastered. So I spent my time working on this little guy for about an hour a day. At first it was difficult to collect the base. But even though it was my first 3D puzzle, it got better when everything fell into place as I neared completion. I have mixed feelings about this puzzle. From 100% hate to 100% love. I guess b/c wait. I didn't expect it to be such a problem. When I first received it, I opened the box and wondered what I would do with those plastic pieces. There is no manual. And it was the first of its kind I've ever tried to work on and it didn't work.
