not black as shown

It says it fits my 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS but it doesn't. And the sensor is grey, not black like in the photo. I don't need it and I'm frustrated.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Buy mopar, this is not OEM part!

I'm a mechanic and my wife's car had a bad camshaft position sensor, the car jerked and stumbled at speed. I ordered this aftermarket sensor to save money. Big mistake! This is a perfect example of cheap aftermarket junk. I installed the sensor, the previous symptom went away, but then the car didn't start well, I ordered the original Mopar sensor, the problem went away. Don't waste money and time on it. Once again learned with spare parts.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Will write later

Revain stated this would fit my wife's 1996 Dodge Caravan. A gray color sensor arrived which turned out to be the exact same part I replaced, although it wasn't black and the plastic wasn't as strong. There was one major difference that caused the part to not work: the plastic sleeve on the female receiver was about half an inch longer than the factory sensor. This made it impossible to connect a standard connector to the sensor. I think I'll go back for a refund and go into the auto zone.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Weight

Great item at an even better price

Our 2009 non-turbo cruiser accidentally went into emergency mode. The check engine light came on and then the computer wouldn't let you rev over 2500 rpm. Trying to squeeze the throttle harder downshifts, but the engine won't let you catch up, and you'll be flung forward into the seat. We took it to a local auto parts store and they diagnosed it as a camshaft position sensor. We then bought new spark plugs and wires, replaced them and it worked better but the problem still happened randomly so…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some issues
