Smaller than expected but a bit thicker and works great

These discs are smaller than other discs I have but I found size didn't matter. They work just as well to prevent wine from running down the sides of the bottle. They also seem a bit thicker than my old ones so they'll probably hold up better. I had to buy a few packs as I have a few different houses and use them with every bottle of wine I open.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

zero drops of wine; up to 75 cents per disc; Reusable

I used this at my Christmas party for a party of 24 this year. We served red and white wine and sparkling wine on white tablecloths and white counters. There were no drops of wine. They look beautiful in a bottle. They can be washed and reused if you take the time to wipe, wipe and wipe away water stains. They're also inexpensive; It costs less than 75 cents a disc if you break it down into a pack of ten, and less if you reuse it.

Avoid "Off Brands " and buy this one!

I saw that a winery used them and ordered one straight away. I ordered a different wine pourer (not this one) and was shocked to find the coating had worn off after 3 uses! What was I swallowing when the cover came off? I didn't even bother to return it but left a negative review :( THIS "Original Wine Disc" item was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Very high quality and looks brand new after reading the same disc used ten times!I would definitely recommend to any wine lover who doesn't like…

They start to fade after a few washes.

These discs do what they're supposed to do. They allow you to pour wine without dripping. But after several washes, the silver paint (?) starts to peel off the pane. They have a clear plastic disk with a silver dot in the center. As you continue to use/wash it, the disc will begin to peel off into individual layers. They're not expensive, but throwing them away after a few months of use seems frustrating and wasteful. I hope I didn't drink any flakes of silver paint.

much better than I expected

I do wine tasting as part of my job. I'm not sure how long I'll be doing this or how often, so I wanted an inexpensive solution to make pouring 1/2 oz samples easier. Full spouts are more expensive and I need at least 4. I saw the good reviews on here and thought "Of course I'll give it a try." For the price it wouldn't be a huge loss if they didn't work. Well I've done 3 tastings so far and it's amazing! Simple, light and they take up almost no space in my travel bag. it doesn't narrow the…

Don't try this at home!

Every Saturday I do wine tasting here at The Wine Chap in Nashville, Tennessee and pour about 6 wines for at least 50 people. That plus the fact that I'm the sleaziest pseudo-sommelier this side of the Languedoc and you have a formula for dirty shirts and shoes (always wear black next to me!). When I remember using these wine slices, they give the impression that I come from a famous French winemaking family, with roots dating back to the 15th century. My liqueurs are so meticulous and perfect…

Bought to be used with a bottle of Patron. Soap Dispenser

Disclaimer. I didn't buy this product to pour wine. I bought these discs to use in a Patron bottle that is filled with dish soap and used as a dispenser. They are excellent for this purpose (although I imagine they would work well for wine as well). They are flexible yet strong and fit my bottle opening perfectly. They don't slip out of the bin and I've pulled mine out a few times to clean them and put them back in with no problems. The price was right and I even got extras as there are 10 in…

They work great!: Wine Pourer

These mylar discs work great. You just roll one up and stick it in the top of the bottle. When the wine is poured, there are no drops at all. It's easy and it works. Mylar is also a very durable material. If you rinse and dry the disc after use, it can be reused many times. They don't take up space, making them easy to take with you on wine tours. Because if these ten discs ever wear out or get lost, I will definitely buy a pack again. By the way: When the package arrived in the mailbox, one of
