Description of ORP meter ORP 169E meter

ORP water tester meter 169E The orp 169E portable device is made in the form of a test pen. Designed to measure the redox potential of liquids, as well as evaluate the operation of generators and ionizers. On the body of the ORP meter 169E there are two control buttons: On/off - turn on/off. Hold - fixation of readings. Taking measurements: Remove the protective cap. Press the "On/off" button to turn on the power. Place the electrode in the solution to be measured without going beyond the maximum immersion line. Gently stir the liquid with the electrode and wait for the reading to stabilize. To fix the value on the screen, press the "HOLD" button. If you want to re-measure, press the HOLD button again to exit the hold state automatically. After taking measurements, turn off the device with the “On / off” button. Clean the electrode with distilled water and put on the protective cap. Before use and after each use, it is recommended to rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it with absorbent paper. Do not touch the electrode with your hands! Do not use distilled or deionized water for storage. *Significant fluctuations in readings may be caused by a lack of calibration, a dry electrode, or dead batteries. It is recommended that after 2-3 weeks of using the 169E ORP Meter, place the electrode in a 3 mol/L KCL solution for 12 hours to maintain accuracy. OBM Calibration Meter 169E Calibration of the device is carried out at a value of 265 mV (usually an ORP powder with a value of 265 mV is diluted with a powder of ph 4.01 in 250 ml of distilled water). To calibrate the 169E ORP Meter: unscrew the cover on top of the device (the calibration screw is located in the battery compartment); lower the electrode of the device into the prepared calibration solution, observing the maximum immersion line; turn on the tester and, turning the calibration screw, with a special screwdriver (included), achieve the corresponding readings of the device to the calibration solution; turn off the device, rinse the electrode with distilled water, return all elements to their place. If calibration fails, check the battery or change the ORP meter electrode. Used electrode type: PR021. Battery Replacement If calibration cannot be performed or the display dims, the batteries must be replaced. Unscrew the battery cover on top of the ORP meter and replace all batteries at once, observing the polarity. Batteries should only be replaced in a safe and secure area. Operates on four 1.5V coin cell batteries (LR44). Specifications: Range: -1999 to 1999 mV Resolution: 1mV Accuracy: ± 50 mV Batteries: 4 x 1.5V (LR44) Operating conditions: temperature from 0 to 50 ° C, relative humidity not more than 95% Dimensions: 18.5 x 4 (diameter) cm Weight: 80 g Included: ORP meter orp 169E Calibration screwdriver Cardboard box

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

To make the electrode last longer, you need to buy additional liquid, a few drops are poured into the cap and the device is stored in an upright position, there are two free places in the box for such liquid
