You have to remove the foam from its plastic bag and allow it to expand. Unlike a memory-foam product which takes a day to fully expand, this foam expands fairly quickly (an hour or so). Bought this for our smaller dog and our bigger dog enjoys it to despite having his own. We love the removable bed cover to make washing easy. It’s great for dogs who love firm beds and even better for big and heavy dogs since this bed doesn’t thin out or sag over time due to weight.

I've learned the hard way that next to nothing is chew proof. If my Mastiff hasn't chewed on something then chances are he'll scratch it with his nails. I like the large dog bed for my older dog. He is enjoying it. Every bed I got for him, he destroyed them, but he like this type bed.

I think the foam needs to be thicker because the foam is so soft.Might be better with a denser piece laminated on the bottom

Good for smaller dogs, but you will need something more plush for larger dogs. Mine is about 70lbs and it doesn’t fully support him. Smaller dogs than that this would be fine.

Both of my girls love this bed, so much so that they both insist on sitting on it at the same time. It fits both of them (70 & 85 lb) very comfortably and has been a life saver for my girl during her surgery recovery. The cover comes off very easily and can be thrown in the wash to be cleaned. The dog bed is very good and I highly recommend it. I’ve bought 4 of this types of beds throughout my dogs life. Hands down this one has been the best quality fabric. It unzips, wash’s, and very easy to put the foam piece right in when done. Great quality product.

Since I have unpacked them these beds have become their favored spot to lay on, besides my bed that is. Even my cat enjoyed this bed.
