Ortofon Concorde Club MKll Single Review

I have several high end MM cartridges and bought this one because I was wondering what the DJ cartridges sound like. Sounds fantastic and reminds me of the old Shure I had. Very clean, no bubbling at 3 grams. Well done. Great for playing 70's records from used/worn out bins.

After installing the Club Cart on my turntable, I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. I've always experienced feedback in my setup when I hit the bass too hard, which I blamed on my turntable, but was glad the issue was completely resolved with this cartridge. I've made a few records so far and I'm very impressed at the moment. I highly recommend this product.

This elliptical model was purchased specifically over the Scratch model to maintain the high sound quality of my Technics 1210 MKII. Do not scratch or queue this model, it is designed for high quality sound. I highly recommend studying each of the Ortofon models to understand their purpose, they are not all the same. First off, wow! How this needle changed my vintage vinyl! Sounds like CD quality and we hear a lot more subtleties of the recording.
