It supports your foot really comfortably.

This is the most effective corrective gear I have ever tried for my specific situation ie foot drop and arched ankle. It is comfortable to sleep in. I can wear it in the specified shoes. That's great.

Pros
  • INSTANT RELIEF AND COMFORT: The Reflex Ankle and Foot Orthosis provides instant relief and support, keeping the foot and ankle in a comfortable yet stable position and allowing you to continue exercising.
Cons

Don't waste money!

Instructions for OTHER UNIT included. There are no instructions for this device. Looks worn/tried on. made of plastic that cuts into the skin depending on the size and shape of the calf/ankle. Stay away!

Pros
  • INNOVATIVE FEATURES FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE: The anatomical design of the splint provides a comfortable and stable fit. The thicker, stiffer AFO vertical provides strong lateral stability throughout the ankle area and static dorsiflexion support by supporting the foot at a 90° angle . A thinner footrest provides a more comfortable fit without sacrificing essential movement.

Don't trust photo

Bad design. What you see on the Revain website is not what you get. The picture on the website shows a solid back over the heel. However, that thin plastic brace has a hole just above the heel. When you try to use an orthotic, this hole rubs against the ankle tendon above the heel. I couldn't walk with it and I can't understand how anyone could.

Pros
  • ANKLE AND FOOT SUPPORT THROUGH DIFFERENT CONDITIONS: Foot drop due to hemiplegia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, tibialis anterior weakness, lower motor neuron (LMN) disease and other conditions that contribute to sagging feet to lead. Can be used for postoperative immobilization after tendon surgery.

Inconvenient item for medical supplies and equipment

I had to purchase one of these devices due to back surgery which resulted in what is known as "flat foot" in my right leg/foot. The price was reasonable compared to the specialist I went to ($700). The calf strap on mine snapped in half on the first attempt to use it. I also found the device very uncomfortable in the heel area, no matter what I tried it would slide or dig in, causing a great deal of pain in a very short period of time. Eventually abandoned and parked back in the crate as…

Pros
  • STABILITY AND FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT REQUIRED: Durable, lightweight thermoplastic material provides comfortable lateral stability at the ankle and foot while allowing for basic foot movement. SLIM DESIGN: The slim leaf spring design with a low arch and open heel allows the orthosis to be worn under most shoes.
Cons
  • Crumpled
