I was expecting more padding but all I got was a thin rubber glove. The nose piece does nothing at all. It fits perfectly on the original cap and therefore creates nothing but a rubbery feel around your face. This case works well, the material feels good and is very easy to put on. I highly recommend this, but only if your nose is on the longer side. I have a broad and short nose that lets in a lot of light. This let in so much light that my Quest 2 kept losing connection as it was interfering with the proximity sensor.
