Wears Quickly - Power and Hand Tools

The blade cut metal I wanted to cut in .60 gauge about 1/16 inch mild steel, but it wore out quickly. I would not buy this blade again, next time I will spend more money and buy a better blade that will last longer.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • High Price

The tooth broke off during the first cut

I made my first cut with this blade today, cut .125 aluminum and the tooth broke just inches after the cut. I preferred to contact the seller directly through Revain but could not find 'Contact Seller' for this item. The company is excellent, they sent a replacement straight away.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Better result expected

I needed a saw blade to cut 8 aluminum legs on beautiful home furniture. First, I had trouble finding a blade for non-ferrous metals, and second, finding one that had enough teeth for a good cut. This blade is perfect for my work. He made an amazingly thin cut with great precision - the profile of the cut was a small clean line. All cutouts are the same - excellent.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Empty

Can cut 1/4 " sheet metal

I only bought this to cut sheet metal which it does very well on my Dewalt chainsaw. I had to cut off a piece of 1/4 inch sheet. and prepared to use his plasma cutter, but decided to try a dozer saw with an Oshlun metal cutting blade. It worked! Worked slowly but gave a nice clean cut, with a much better finish than what I would get from a plasma cutter.

Same quality, almost half the price of Milwaukee

I recently purchased a Milwaukee 5 1/2" cordless hacksaw. It came with a 5 3/8" Milwaukee blade which retails for $39.99 This blade actually outlasted the Milwaukee blade that came with the saw and still showed no signs of wear Very happy with this purchase even though I would buy a saw set elsewhere for a lot less could.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Cuts pipes, but be careful

Cuts through steel pipes. I scrapped an old 1 3/4 inch diameter farm gate and the blade got stuck. I couldn't get it out of the notch as it was jammed in the notch and I couldn't restart my saw. She got stuck. I snapped the saw out of the kerf and one of the teeth on the blade popped out. It's a very good blade and I'm only passing the experience along to other users. If the blade is jammed and you can't get it out, be careful.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Obsolete

Vented Soffit Don't Buy This

Thought I'd try this on my soffit replacement project. Bought all new material 12 feet long and 16 inches wide with center venting. Industry standard material available at any large cardboard or siding store. I decided to find an alum blade for my battery powered circular saw and give it a try. everything is fine on the solid part of the panel, but the ventilated part of the panel tears and tears, which is not good for either the optics or the installation time. Then I took out the old plywood…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Works great on a table saw for cutting sheet aluminum.

. I found it fitted well (just as you would like) and it went on without any type of recording. With the blade on the original cardboard container, I put the adapter ring in the hole and then hammered it in with a small hammer. With the adapter installed, it fits my 5/8" Delta Contractor saw arbor perfectly with no wobble. I bought this blade for one purpose: cutting thin sheet of aluminum (less than 1/8" thick) into perfect rectangles. With a good Stop (I have an Incra TS-LS3) and a properly…

Pros
  • . This is amazing.
Cons
  • . I vaguely remember.
