OSkool AutoVac Accessory: A Smart Solution for Automatic Vacuuming Review

I like it. I no longer have to remember to turn on the vacuum cleaner when I start the vacuum cleaner tool. For example, it starts right after my saw and turns off a few seconds after the saw stops. I plugged a power strip into it and then plugged some power tools into the power strip. So when I start one of the tools, the vacuum turns on.

The switch works well but there was only one "ear" to attach to the wall and it didn't sit flush with the back. Tightening the screw will push the bottom out. If you leave the screw loose, it will move. I had to make a spacer to place it behind the mounting ear so it would fit snugly against the wall. Requires two tabs for flush mounting.

This switch saves me time when using a miter saw. I bought a cheap vacuum with a bucket from Home Depot and attached it to my miter saw. Every time I use the saw, the vacuum turns on automatically. After releasing the saw trigger, the vacuum cleaner will automatically turn off after 5-10 seconds to remove sawdust from the hose.

I noticed it in a YouTube video and ordered it right away. It works really well, and from what I've read about competing brands, this one actually works. That's great. I turn on the saw, a few seconds later the vacuum turns on to prevent the breaker from tripping and when I'm done it runs for 5 seconds to clear the pipe. It's great and I use it all the time now.

I wanted to install a microwave in an unventilated cabinet and wanted the fan to run only when the microwave was in use. I had a fantasy that someone built this particular thing, and then I kind of laughed at myself for thinking about it. But here it is! I got the gist of the application it was intended for; not much different from my use. This works great and completely solved my problem. Every fridge or freezer I've seen has a rectangular plug. So not suitable for this device. I've tried it on a table saw and a band saw, again it has a right angle connector. I have tried calling or writing to the manufacturer but there is no name and model number. So I gave up and found another Revain over the counter seller and placed an order. Maybe I could just swap out the outlets or put in a new freezer plug, but that's more work than I want. The TOOL output must be down and the VAC output
