Basically fine. about e-learning toys

My kids love Osmo, but overall this game causes the most disruption. Sometimes the wrong outfit appears on the screen, which upsets me, the youngest, so I have to sit next to her to help her, which is normal. Overall fun games for that.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other toys

Lots of dialogues at a slow pace

The game always starts with a slow intro (which cannot be skipped). The game then moves at a slow pace. There is a whole plot and a series of dialogues. I have 2 children with autism. It moves absolutely too slowly and doesn't hold their attention.

Great learning tool for toddlers

My daughter is 4 years old and LOVES all Osmo iPad games. We have the Osmo Creative Monster Set and now Genius Sticks. Very interactive and keeps them engaged and learning. The pieces are larger than I thought and not flimsy for easy handling in their tiny hands. I love that it comes with a storage case so we can keep all the pieces! Now she's going pro by learning the alphabet! You must purchase the Osmo base, which is sold separately. It's not in this particularly awesome set.

Pros
  • High test scores for durability
Cons
  • Modern

Open fun! suitable for learning and studying

This year we gave our children Osmose for Christmas with several different games and this is one of them. This is my personal favourite! It's so much fun to learn letters! My kids (2,3,4 years old) know how to play with it. We play with it a lot too, even when it's not connected to a tablet. We'll use this as endless fun and challenge each other to create something out of the pieces we have. Although the game is great too - it's easy to navigate, and even a 2-year-old with little to no…

Nice game for little kids but annoying elevator music

I have an Osmo base for the iPad so I decided to just buy the costume extension. The add-on gives you access to two games: Costume Party and Story Time. The game itself is simple, in which the Osmo narrator asks the child to choose outfits that match the description. A child from 3 years old is very easy to handle. The downside of this game is that sometimes the device won't register if the suits are slightly misaligned. It's important to make sure the lighting is directly overhead so there are

  • Great design

Painfully slow pacing can't get my son's attention

The game starts with an intro that moves incredibly slow and you can't skip it. As other reviewers have said, the game doesn't correct wrong answers. I have 2 children with autism. My eldest son loves playing the option where you can create your own character, but sometimes the camera doesn't capture exactly what he created (the price is a bit annoying). I found it very interesting to use the letter game to improve my younger sons' understanding of lowercase letters. But as I said, the slow…
