Learning fun for children

Very disappointed that the product was "upgraded" so soon after purchasing the first Osmo base. However, the base works with newer iPads and games.

Please note this is a NEW base

I should have read more clearly that this is a new base which requires an iPad case. It works great and is great, but without the OSMO case it doesn't hold the iPad very well. Just for info!

Good for kids to study and study

I bought the coding first and then realized I didn't buy the base. It's a gift and I was a little embarrassed. Anyway, my son really enjoys programming and I have to explain to him that he can only play for 30 minutes a day.

Great for distance learning!

If you are a telecommuting teacher this is a great tool to use with an iPad (I use an iPad mini 3). If you use OSMO with an iPad, you can record your written lesson on the screen. I use this to teach precalculus and algebra 1. Allows students to easily see and hear instructions without showing their face (or their pajamas!). Can also be used with Zoom and Google Meet.

2 games can be downloaded from App Store they are called Masterworks and Newton

My 6 and 5 year old kids love it and these games are very easy to download. The games that come with Osmo Base are Newton and a masterpiece, you don't need anything extra to play them, so just go to the App Store and download the app, then play the games. I hope this helps clear up some confusion about the missing game in other reviews, this is a really cool little tablet app.

Not compatible with Fire HD 8 (Gen 10)

We bought this base as part of a little brilliant kit. It fits the Fire tablet, but only if you remove the protective child case. We have an awesome iPad set and the customization has been great. In the event of a fire, this was not possible. According to the App Store, the app is not available. When I contacted Osmo customer service they said my tablet was not compatible and they were unsure if it would ever be compatible. Revain needs to be aware of this lack of compatibility.

Bad assembly instructions.

The Osmo base is very well built, offers excellent performance and is built to withstand heavy use. The only problem is that it's almost impossible to set this thing up and get the first two apps. I spent over an hour on this. The book asks me to sign in to Osmo on my iPad. This is a dead end. I had to turn off the Osmo 4 times and ask for the login code again 4 times, reset it 3 times and almost boxed it up to send it back. I thought again. I was browsing their website and quite by accident…

Osmo holds my children's attention longer than expected. Now more games and a good learning tool

I used to give Osmo games to young relatives and they had fun with them for a while, eventually running out of breath a little faster than expected. As my kids are in Osmo's age group and have had experience with it at school, it was on their Christmas wish list. We ordered the Osmo Starter Kit (base with the game) and a few other games. With two kids we needed a different base and we were glad they sold it separately as there was no other starter set that made sense. We are now three months…
