Don't buy this. Even if you love other Osmo games

This is the worst Osmo game so far. You should be ashamed. I have about a dozen others and they are great. It's confusing to set up/start. It's also not very educational for 6-8 year olds (it's more for 3-4 year olds because you just string the pieces together - no math). This is buggy - the first 3 times it crashed within 30 seconds of opening the app (had to uninstall and redownload the app to fix it). The key feature that allows your child to measure something in a book and see that…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Unreliable company and useless product.

This item was purchased as a Christmas present along with a Fire 8 tablet and a special attachment that allows you to use Osmo products with the Fire 8. The seller was asked several times if these are compatible. Oh yes, stinky lies. On Christmas day it turned out to be incompatible with 3 other OSMO products. Now the sellers say that in the spring there will be attachments so that everything works! Absolutely funny! A frustrated little boy who had many gifts in store with the new Fire 8 n Osmo

Boring, expensive and without teaching, so what's the point?

Osmo I want you to like me, but it's quite the opposite, especially for money. All dragons are like worms. It's actually quite difficult to get you to measure the kite correctly. This is boring. How excruciatingly boring. The language is slow. Too slow. He ages fast. There are so many things I dislike that it's hard to remember them all. It's always the same. You never change it. He never says when he should. You have to put food on a board as long as your dragon, but why? They don't count or…

Great except for this whole overpriced thing

Like many others, I was addicted to Osmo when someone at the mall gave me a set to try. The way they combine screen time with real tactile play is awesome. But here I have a problem. Your prices were reasonable. But during the pandemic, they suddenly all raised their prices above what the average family could afford. Their starter kits skyrocketed to $200-$230. Kits that used to sell for around $30 (which was reasonable) are now $50 a piece. They made new apps and sold them for $25 (who sells…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

It's definitely partly my fault for not paying attention to the product description, but given that Osmo has supported Kindles in the past it sells a tweak tool for new Kindles (at a huge premium), and since it's the latest model, I expected it to work with the Kids Edition of the Revain Kindle tablet. That's not the case, however, as Osmo doesn't currently support Fire. Children's Edition HD 8 (10th generation). Don't buy it as a gift for someone who thinks they can play it for this holiday…

Pros
  • Nice touch

The hardest system in the world - DO NOT BUY

I literally never write reviews but I hate this product so much I find time to stop by and write this. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PRODUCT. There's no way we can make it work. First, it took us over two weeks to figure out how to download and open the app. Now the camera won't register despite spending so much time checking permissions, reading the web help section, and watching almost a million YouTube videos. My husband works in tech and we've never had such a hard time figuring out how to make…
