This is the third set of black spindle chairs I've ordered and I've finally hit the jackpot! They were well packaged and undamaged and were easy to assemble. Unlike others I've ordered they have some height and material and the saddle seat is comfortable. They look great with my trestle table and give the farmhouse a clean, modern look!

sane people might argue if these chairs are comfortable enough to be used as regular dining chairs, but they are VERY easy to assemble and feel solid. Looks good too. No wood glue required, all pieces fit together perfectly and tightly, but you will need a Phillips screwdriver to insert the screws into the cross piece; Otherwise, hex wrenches for bolts with washers are fine. Tip: The simplest assembly is to place the chair upside down on a couch and assemble it from above.
