Very light but protects my duvet well. My kayak capsized in fast water. The "waterproof" backpack I first used failed - it was missing some water, but luckily I packed my clothes and linens in the Osprey Ultralight 30 Dry Sack, so I was dry despite my "waterproof" " backpack leaked a lot of water clothes and bedding left over.
