I love the classic 76 clippers but the 8 clippers mentioned in my order were missing! I wish they would send my guards! After 2 unsuccessful attempts to get the desired material. I decided to return them. They really need to change what's in their supplement!

Edit: The combs provided do not fit this clipper. They fit a very old hair clipper I've had for about 20 years, also an Oster. This is a high quality hair clipper. Recommended by my stylist to cut my husband's hair. Cuts easily and evenly. Highly recommended.

I have been cutting my hair for a few years now. I have always used cheaper clippers, especially the Wahl brand. After damaging my latest clipper I decided I should finally try upgrading to this Oyster clipper and hopefully invest in a higher quality product. Overall, these clippers are well made and durable. Guide combs are made of soft plastic and will not catch on the machine head. I tried using clippers and all the guide combs were too soft plastic. The shaving head heats up during operation and heats up all the guide combs. At that point they will fall off. If you try to cut your own hair, you may not notice that it's fallen out if you cut the back of your head and cut your hair too close. There doesn't seem to be a solution for this. I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a review on this. My first impression was that this thing is straight out of the 50's, with brown bakelite and chunky construction, I almost expected the cord to be insulated with old fabric. The best clippers I have ever owned. I've been using Wahl for years and decided to give these a try. The haircut is excellent, the clippers are easy to hold and manoeuvre. Fuses are easy to use. Cleaning and changing the blades is easy. It will get warm after prolonged use, but a quick spray of cleaner/coolant will cool it down to a comfortable temperature. Very well built and heavy.
