Very thin and inferior plastic. The original rails were made out of nice hard plastic. They were so fragile that they fell off the machine either immediately or during a haircut. If you bought the right size, the guides just don't fit the clipper snugly enough to work properly. I wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend either.

Someone replied to a similar question about whether these oster 059750-005-000 would fit, but there was so little detail in their answer that I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did as Oster did a pathetic job supporting the 059750-005-000 and it's very difficult to find replacement parts and combs for it. I still have what appears to be my 'antique' OSTER electric hair clipper (from the last century) which still works perfectly but all the clipper attachments have either been lost or there are a few teeth left on the stuck comb! Discover the Oster Professional Guide Combs 76926-800 which fit perfectly and now allow me to "customize" my facial hair. In a beard I ALWAYS knew what it could be! Read the reviews here that say they will NOT fit on a Fast Feed Clipper even though both were Oyster. I thought the price was low enough to warrant a try. To my surprise, they fit very well. I've tried all sizes, clipped on clippers, and not a single comb has fallen off. I would give them 5 stars and you don't have to worry if you plan to use this for Fast Feed Clippers as well.

Like anything in life you get what you pay for. They are 100% plastic and will break over time. Unfortunately, this period is not very long. Any "pro" will squeeze a few weeks out of this investment. If they are constantly put on and taken off, they wear out and break. Ironically, these combs are labeled "professional” at Oster and not the other way around.
