Very solid. Works well. It was definitely worth the money. Good price! The cheese slicer came from Denmark. There was no information anywhere that it came from Denmark and that shipping would be more expensive.

Definitely need more weight to handle. I had another brand that I liked but can't find replacement cables. It's near. Works well and their replacement wires work. I like the way the wires are attached to this one. Anchor under metal, not plastic.

I bought one of these slicers on a trip to Denmark in 1999. She always cuts perfectly. When mine recently finally failed and broke, I was so frustrated I could hardly throw it away. When I realized I could get it on Revain, I was utterly relieved. It also came directly from Denmark! I will always have one in my kitchen.
