Description of OTC 1902 Locknut Socket Opening

Wheel bearing locknuts are easy to remove or install with these specially designed sockets. OTC wheel bearing locknut sockets are formed from high-strength steel that is resistant to rounding out under high torque loads. Designed for use with 3/4 inch, square-drive MANUAL tools only. 6 point, 2-3/8 inch (flat to flat) opening size with 5 inch depth; to determine socket size needed, measure locknut from flat to flat.

Good quality, good for tools and equipment

OTC wheel bearing lock nut bushings are good quality and will last a long time as long as you tighten them Don't use a percussion gun on them .

Good quality, used with up to 250 lb/ft of torque

Nice tool, I used it on a semi trailer hub and increased the torque to 250lb/ft on the bearing fit and it's no problem at all.

  • 6 points, bore size 2-3/8" (shallow to shallow) with 5" deep; To determine the nut size required measure the locknut flat to flat

Excellent quality. - Steering and suspension tools

Excellent price. I've been looking all over town for this outlet but I couldn't find it anywhere. This outlet was a life saver. It worked. It's kind of heavy thick metal, which is to be expected from a quality instrument. Seems to last a long time with regular use.

Perfect for 12,000 right axles on 40ft gooseneck trailer

Great for 12,000 right axles on my 40ft gooseneck trailer. I use it to take off and tighten spindle nuts and tighten 110-120 ft-lbs. Also use it for removing and installing the outer dust cover for oil bath axles. Perfect 2.5 inch jack and robust for what I use it for.
