Will not work with Innova pressure gauges

Unfortunately this quick connector is not compatible with typical quick connectors used in pressure gauges so use caution. The end of this connector is too thick. I assume this works well with over-the-counter blood pressure monitors, but may not work with others.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Has flaws

Unlike some others, this adapter *has* a shredder type.

Unlike some others, this adapter *has* a Schrader valve on the base to maintain internal pressure in the adapter. This is necessary to get accurate compression readings, otherwise the adapter will increase the usable volume of the cylinder and decrease your pressure reading.

Pros
  • Not used for its intended purpose
Cons
  • No

Not for leak testing!

Not for leak testing! It has a valve at the bottom so when used with a compression tester it only measures what is coming out of the cylinder. When used as an extension to a leak test, you get such wonderful results (100%) that you find out what's wrong pretty quickly. The valve prevents air from escaping the extension into the cylinder and then out. :-/ I'm more confused about these 20 seconds, in which I realized that something can NOT be right.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Easy to repair
