This is the cheapest "good " kit for twin flashes.

Very similar to cheaper kits but everything fits much better for a good flare. The important point is how the screw press is rotated into position to make contact with the brake pipe.

Pros
  • Brake flare tool
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good brand, doesn't hold tight enough

Tool broke after 15 uses, my friend bought me a new one, later I sold it and bought a MASTERCOOL #71475 hydraulic flaring tool and it's the best flaring tool ever! But get ready to spend some money because it's not cheap but worth every penny, it does bubbles, doubles, fuel flares and so on but I can't remember right now.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Reliability

Error on first try, .

Couldn't resist on the first try. He broke down when I tried to make the first double bell shape. He just pushed the leash out from behind! I returned it and bought a Mastercool hydraulic flare kit. Admittedly, the tubular steel is 47 years old and probably too stiff. The Mastercool tool split the torch on the first try but worked fine on try 2. And all subsequent torches. I had to learn how to use the full extension in step 1 but not fully use the lower limit tool in step 2.

Pros
  • Tools and equipment
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
