Ideal for arc welders

2-5/8" socket was ideal for the internal adjusting nut on the front hub of the 2008 Freightliner XC Bus chassis. The 4" head was ideal for the external locknut on the same hubs. The heads are solid and work perfectly.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons

Quality tool.: Welding equipment

I used this to remove the spindle nuts on the Rockwell 2.5 ton rear axles on a military M35A2. They sit tight and don't slip.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

2 1/4 Wheel Bearing Nut Hex Socket

This socket saved me a lot of trouble. I ordered this socket on Monday and it was there the next day. I would recommend this outlet. Did the job with a bang.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

It works, so to speak. for welders

Bought this 3 inch socket for wheel bearings to fit 2.5 ton Rockwells. To do this, you have to apply enough force to prevent slipping. If it fits snugly enough, it's not a problem. Yes, I have the right size for my application.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • working speed
