6904 Oil Filter Socket - Hyundai/Kia, 88.5mm, 15 Flutes for OTC Brand Review

This world's perfect for loosening and tightening the filter housing cover on a 2008 Kia Sorento. I've tried wrenches and belts but couldn't get enough torque due to the constriction of the filter behind the engine. It worked without any trouble.

As I needed it and as I expected. I got very frustrated trying to remove the oil filter cover with a strap wrench and because the size is custom my local auto parts store didn't have one. That made it as easy as 1-2-3. My only complaint is that for some reason it is a 'restricted item' and therefore I cannot sell my used item on Amazon (we no longer have a car).

I have a 2009 Sante Fe (3.3 V6) and have been using fully synthetic oil since I bought it. To save money, I decided to start changing the oil myself. The Sante Fe has an internal oil filter located under the hood. To replace this filter you will need two items: an o-ring pick and an oil filter wrench.
