Description of OTC Tools 7218 Socket for Axle Hub Nut

Removes and installs the axle hub bearing retaining nut. Fits GM 11-1/2" rear axle found on 2011 and newer trucks. 9 Pin socket with a 1/2" drive. Similar to CH-50636.

Great Socket for My Automotive Needs!

My analysis of this axle socket showed that it is a great addition to my collection of automotive tools. The socket fits perfectly and makes it easy to loosen and tighten bolts on my car's axle. The quality of the product is great and it feels durable. However, it is a bit pricey compared to other sockets in the market.

Ideal for working on GM rear axles since 2011 MY. Same as General Motors special tool found in dealers For fully floating rear axles.
