The case is excellent and elegantly simple. I have a metal plate between the outer plastic and outer silicone cases so I can use different magnetic mounts in the car, on my desk or at work. You can't tell if the platter has everything, and it doesn't interfere with anything (since storage isn't stored magnetically in today's drive stores, you won't hurt anything other than your ability to charge wirelessly). Commuter cases have been my favorite phone cases for many years. The case has a thin profile but still offers excellent protection. I appreciate that the case has a raised lip around the screen so you can comfortably place your phone face down. The camera cutout does the same for added protection. Some disappointment. Ordered on 5/2/21. Found 2 cracks around the hole for the camera lenses at the end of July. The warranty will of course be replaced, but Otterbox will charge YOU S&H. A little if you ask me. I'm giving it 4 stars for now. If my replacement case breaks within a few months, I'll probably downgrade my rating to 2 stars. These cases are too expensive to be cracked that easily and I have no reason to believe this case is any more durable and reliable than other cheaper brands…

I've only bought Otter for my smartphones and they've always protected them. I've never had a cracked screen and usually the otter breaks in front of the phone so I can replace the case. This case feels very durable, but also adds a lot of bulk (balanced weight) to the phone. It is more like an exoskeleton, while my previous cases had a hard case with rubber coating.
