OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES Case For IPhone 11 Pro Max - MINT WAY (SURF SPRAY/AQUIFER) Review

This case is great. I love the otter box. Holds my phone securely without being too bulky. Slides in and out of pocket very easily.

This is an expensive case that will NOT protect your phone. My phone is only a few months old. I removed the case to clean the phone and found the back was cracked. I only dropped it once. I am so upset about this discovery. I bought this case thinking it would protect my phone. A $30 case not worth it.

I've used this series on my last three iPhones. I like the new design. Removing the Apple logo hole is a nice design change. I also like the new cutouts in the back that let the softer rubber through. This provides more grip when holding the phone. The case strikes the perfect balance between protection and ease of use. It is neither too thick nor too thin.

The weak point of this bag is the top angle of the cameras. The actual corner is rubberized, but on the back is a very thin piece of plastic that wraps around the top corner of the camera. One drop and the piece broke. I expected more from Otterbox, especially for the price! This corner was supposed to be a noticeable weak spot for otterbox and wouldn't have made it into production as it is.

I've had my iPhone 11 Pro Max for about a week now. I dropped my phone ONCE and the phone fell out of the case and scratched one of the four corners that the case is supposed to protect. I am confident that this case has been properly installed and will provide protection. Unreal. The reason I have this case? My Lifeproof case is not yet available. Terrible design! The back of this case is made of hard, smooth plastic, making it easy to slip off any surface! Otter Box engineers have outdone themselves, this thing really flies away! Most phone cases use a soft polymer insert that grips the surface and keeps the phone securely in place. Some phone cases are even known for keeping the phone on the roof of the car until the driver gets home but not this one, when you put it on the roof of the car a gentle breeze will blow it to the ground. I used to use the Commuter series and my phone has never been damaged. The BlazerBlue is a bit lighter this time, but I still like it (maybe even more). It feels comfortable in my hand and seems to slip much less out of my hand compared to a bare iPhone (no wonder). Good case for the new iPhone 11 Pro Max I usually buy OtterBox Commuter Series cases and have never had a problem with them. I use glass screen protectors and rarely drop my phone, so I buy a case for my phone and OtterBox have never let me down with their cases.
