Nothing amazing but good

I just brewed green tea in this pot and put it in the fridge as iced tea and so far so good! It's very good looking and quite compact as it's taller rather than wider, which is good if you have a small fridge like mine. objects) in the lid and I don't feel safe until I've cleaned everything up.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

This is not durable glass. This pitcher was BROKEN in my hands when I took it out of the fridge to pour into a glass. This thing shattered into a million pieces and all 100 ounces of liquid spilled onto my stove, counter and drawers. We spent all day washing glass and iced coffee and now we're ready to get our money back. Save yourself and just buy a well-known brand.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • unreliable

This pitcher is beautiful and functional

This pitcher is beautiful and functional. I like it because its shape is smooth but it doesn't have ridges or sharp corners that collect leftover iced tea and juice. I can put my hand in to clean the walls. The lid is easy to remove, but is firmly attached to the jug. It's so much better than IKEA coolers that I ordered a second one. Note: It also holds just over 60 ounces -- it fills up to 64 ounces just under the lid.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Minor issues

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - Resists boiling water!

I LOVE this product! I've bought a few over the years for making iced tea the old fashioned way - pouring boiling water over teabags and then chilling (I get nervous about pouring boiling water into a glass but this pitcher has lasted for years) . during the week!). Honestly one of the most practical and most used products in our household. It is also nice to serve from it. I can't say anything about the quality! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lids won't rust for dining and entertainment

I rarely write reviews. I bought four of these glasses between December 2016 and January 2017. I've used them to store distilled water with minerals to raise the pH to around 7.1-7.2. That's all these pitchers have ever held. Some of them were stored in the fridge while others were at room temperature. All four caps were rusted top and bottom 4 months after purchase. They got so bad that I stopped using them a few months ago. The jar itself is good but the lids are not very good.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Broke when I put it back in the fridge

I did a lot of research before purchasing this pitcher - I wanted to replace an old plastic soda container and it looked like the best option in the size I like. When it arrived I liked its size and design, although admittedly the glass was a little thin for such a large vessel. The description said it was lab grade borosilicate glass which should be strong so I didn't think much about it. Today, just 4 days after delivery, when I put the jug back in the fridge, I tapped the edge of the base to

Perfect glass pitcher, durable and easy to clean!

I had my doubts about the durability of borosilicate glass (famous for Bodum which has very brittle glass) but as many have pointed out, it's quite strong - it won't break easily. Bits with random ringing on the table top. I was looking for a decent volume to fill and store spring barley tea in the fridge and not only does this pitcher hold a large amount, it also fits nicely in the main compartment of my fridge! I also pour in boiling water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit to brew grain teas and it…

Stylish looks but it doesn't hold as much water as expected.

later I really wanted a glass pitcher/decanter with a capacity of about 115 oz. Couldn't find it so went with it as it was listed as 100 ounces but it is actually 100 imperial ounces which is 96 not 100 US ounces and is 100 when poured to the brim. As a practical matter, you should leave at least 1/2-3/4 inch from the top of the carafe, which equals 92 US ounces, so it's actually a cup less than I thought. This is a bit cumbersome for my use, but doesn't bother me. The look of the carafe is…

Excellent quality for its 60 oz size but the seal does not seal.

Great value for its size but gasket doesn't seal. I assumed that because of the silicone pad, I could shake (rather than stir) the drinks. Unfortunately it leaks right at the lip, although it's nice and cozy. The glass is relatively thin, like a coffee pot. It looks great and fits nicely in a jam-packed fridge, which is impressive for a 60-ounce jug. Cleaning is very easy. I'm a big handed guy and I have no trouble cleaning the inside. As long as I take care of it and know it's thin glass I'll…

Pros

Cons
  • Available in black only.
