I'm pretty sure it worked and helped my dog pee.

I'm pretty sure this worked and helped my dog pee on the mat in the house. I also sprayed it outside on the gravel area that is the outside 'toilet'. My dog is far from potty trained but I think it helps a little.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Having problems

I have a stubborn pup who doesn't use his pots. If I had a clean pillow, she wouldn't want to potty on it. But if I give her a few drops, she immediately starts sniffing and making a pot on her pillow. The trick to training them on a mat is not to spray everything in one spot. Make small stripes so they follow the trail.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not bad

Didn't fit us as advertised

We adopted a new puppy (7 months old) and have been trying to train him to go in the backyard where we wanted (grass). . First she used our concrete patio as a toilet so I bought this spray. She went to the spray, but instead of using the place as her bathroom, she started licking the spray off like it was a treat. My sense of smell is dulled so I can't speak to the smell if any, but this wasn't an effective product for us when trying to potty train a child.

It really works! best in Dogs

I have a very small puppy and I am training, it is a bit more difficult to train (not sure if this is because she is so small). As soon as I got this and sprayed it on her dog pad at night, she started peeing on the pad at night. She wears pads while I'm at work. I don't lock her up while I'm sleeping or at work, so she's walking around the house (hardwood floors). The spray really works and I saw a big difference when she used the pads instead of the soil. I would recommend for small dogs up…

Male on grass patio

This combo finally worked for my newly adopted, exuberant 1.5 year old Chihuahua BOY: I added a lawn patch for my patio (you could try Astrotuf) and a center piece, there he likes to lift his leg and squirt on the OBJECT. In my case I used a six inch rock, but you could get cute with a small fire hydrant, a statue of a questionable president, etc. I then added splashes of this material on and around the stone. First he smelled him. Then he drove in it. It definitely got his attention! Then the…

Does not work in learning and behavior guides

I have two male puppies and have tried time and time again to get them to go potty on a mat with this product. The boys tried to lick and EAT the spot where I squirted! This in no way motivated her to make pottery on the mat. I read other negative reviews but thought it was worth a try as all dogs are different. Well, both my boys don't agree with that. Although I managed to get her potty trained. Today they are only 4 months old and they run to the potty themselves to go potty! I can't even…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Safety

Beware of this product - minus 5 stars

I would give minus 5 stars if I could. I had low expectations for this product based on the reviews. But I figured if it helps my two dogs do their thing in the smaller area of my backyard I'll be happy. But the results were the opposite and very bad. My 2 dogs love to run and play in the garden. They approach everywhere. When I received this product I read the instructions (yes I'm one of those people). I brought the dogs from the backyard to dinner out of sight, hearing and smell of the yard.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Fits

Worked for my dog! READ THIS REVIEW!

I don't know why all the bad reviews as it worked for my dog! Disclaimer: I felt compelled to write this review not to help people but to help poor dogs who are stuck inside holding on to their bladder while their human is at work. So listen up folks! Here's what you need to do: Get a potty patch, potty liners, and an attractant spray (this worked for my dog, if it doesn't work for yours, try other brands (and get a sanitizing spray). Place the pads underneath the artificial grass surface.to…
