I don't know why all the bad reviews as it worked for my dog! Disclaimer: I felt compelled to write this review not to help people but to help poor dogs who are stuck inside holding on to their bladder while their human is at work. So listen up folks! Here's what you need to do: Get a potty patch, potty liners, and an attractant spray (this worked for my dog, if it doesn't work for yours, try other brands (and get a sanitizing spray). Place the pads underneath the artificial grass surface.to make cleaning easier spray the attractant on the pads of the pot not the surface!then place artificial grass on top.at first without the spray my dog just rolled and scratched his back when i used the spray the next day generously added i came home to poop on the pavement i led her to the patch and when she saw where we had come from she immediately thought she had done something bad now this part is the KEY you sit with high voice there and keep praising her for about 10 minutes and telling her how she is good POT on Band Aid Offer her treats, keep petting her until she realizes that she was a VERY good girl. Then let them watch you pick up the poop and throw it away. This confirms once again that it is possible to go to the potty there. She was so happy with herself that we played fetch until she was exhausted. She was so confident in her behavior that she looked happy that she had done such a good deed. Do all the steps above and leave a comment if it works for you! By the way, cleaning is easy. Hang it up, spray feces particles on both sides of the patch with a decent powerful nozzle, let it dry, then spray Lysol disinfectant all over the patch and let it dry in the sun. Replace your used pot liners and spray them with LOTS of attractant so they can smell it through the lingering sanitizer smell. I hope this helps any dog who stays home with a blister all day. Now they have a safe place to go, knowing that if they go there they will receive positive affirmation. Win, win for everyone. people too! Edit: She doesn't use Notepad anymore, but she doesn't crash either. So I'm not sure if she's just picky or what. I'll try spraying on rocks and inside as others have mentioned.
