I bought these to put in the laundry room doors. Although they look pretty, they didn't last at all. Parts of the rubber trim around the floor mats came off within a week of receipt. Perhaps they weren't strong enough for such use.

Arrived flat in the box not rolled up which surprised me but was grateful not to have to worry about it flattening out over time or the edges are thereby curved never sink. I keep mine inside next to the shoe rack so I don't know what it looks like from the outside but to me it serves the purpose and is the perfect size for the room it's in.

The house has a concrete porch. When it gets wet, damp etc it gets very slippery. risk of falling. I bought this rug to see if it would help with walking. It was the second carpet of its kind that we used to get from sidewalk to door. Not only did it work (clutch added) but it looks nice too. I thought only to put it out when it rains, but I will leave it all year round.

The rubber edge of the mat was dish shaped (corrugated) all around. I thought it was because the mat had been rolled up and stored and would straighten up in a couple of weeks. Nine months later and after 2.5 months of a hot summer, the outer rubber rim is still hollow as it was when it was delivered. Aside from that cosmetic issue (possible tripping hazard), this is a beautifully functional rug.

Other reviewers weren't kidding when they said this item stinks. I thought maybe they were too sensitive but it smells like a tire shop only stronger. I bought this to protect the bed of my SUV and let it air out outside for a few days before using it and my car smelled awful just from being there for a few hours. The smell will probably go away over time, but I wouldn't recommend it for indoor use as it will stink throughout the house. Aside from the smell, this is a great rug.

Nice large doormat that can be easily cut to fit the door frame. Fits right out of the box and looks great. Some residual rubber smell, but outdoors this was not a problem. The smell went away after a few days. Sometimes cats are very sensitive to changes in the ground they walk on. This rug is a wonder! I have a very large dog that attracts dirt. He tracked sun or rain in mud and slush. I swept the floor 5 times a day and constantly moped. I bought a big one and turned it lengthwise so it had more gears. This rug cleans his feet amazingly when he walks over it. I no longer spend my day sweeping and mopping, once a day is enough.
