I like the thick, strong and durable sole of these children's shoes. Many other children's boots use cheap material, but not here. The upper is well made and even feels waterproof. I put the sock under the faucet and didn't feel any leakage. Easy attach/detach Velcro is great for kids. This shoe is good for daily walks, parks or light hikes. However, they are too stiff and too heavy for competitive sports.

These are great shoes. I ordered size 5 for my 11 year old son. They are a bit large now but will fit well as he outgrows his size 4 shoes. They are so well made and are very attractive shoes. My son has autism and has trouble tying his shoelaces so the velcro closure makes it easy for him to get on and off. I love that they look like they have laces and the velcro is thin and not too noticeable. He likes her and that's the main thing.
