Amazing scope. Don't slip! I bought it to hold a rimless saddle in place and it really does. I'm also not a heavy rider and a very experienced bareback rider, so keep that in mind if you're trying to keep your strapless saddle from slipping.

This is normal but the strap is thin, put your fingers behind the buckles and the horse and feel the pressure of the buckles. Can be used once in a while, but my sensitive friend clearly expresses her dislike when she gets going. Back to the thick fuzzy strap.

Good dressage girth but not elastic or stretchy. I don't understand why these dealers say there is a rubber band on one or both sides when there isn't one! I have a dressage girth that has elastic on one side and it really stretches! This makes it easy to get the right and tight strap. But it's still a good figure. The 24" fits my horse who is usually 25".

I bought the same harness about 10 years ago and was smiled at because of it. The man I was with was sure my horse would have girth ulcers. I have to say that ten years later it shows little to no wear, my horse has never had a girth soreness and it is still my favorite girth I have ever had. So far I have to give this one 3 stars. Delivery and packaging satisfied. However, there seems to be something wrong with the measurements. I ordered a 22" harness which I thought would actually fit based on conversations I had with my trainer and I am currently using a 26" harness which is way too big. But those 22 inches were too small. I even compared it to my instructors' girth of 22 inches. Measured from buckle to buckle, it was almost 2 inches shorter. So unfortunately I have to go back.…

I'm a fan of this girth. When it arrived, it made a very stable and well-made impression. I especially like that the elastic on the buckles is so thick; means it won't wear out as quickly. I've ridden it twice and both times the saddle stayed in place and my horse didn't exhibit any adverse behavior to lead me to believe he wasn't liking it.
