It was easy to set up, but I had a small problem logging back in.

Worked well with my Python overhead door opener. It was easy to set up, but I had a small problem re-entering the opening code shortly after opening the door. It turns out that the opener goes into panic mode within the first 30 seconds of opening to give the owner the ability to quickly change the door movement. I couldn't find it in the manual, but I called support and explained the problem. The problem was solved in a minute or two.

Out of Service: Garage Doors, Openers and Parts

I have a 2002 Access Master. That does not work. I've been pushing buttons for an hour. I give up for now. I will contact customer service in the next few days and update, it works. My garage door has the following programming instructions: (1) press and hold the transmitter button on the remote control (2) press and release the "learn button" on the garage door operator (red button, LED lights up) (3) the light flashes (or clicks if there is no light) twice. The code is now learned. This…

Not programmed for power supply

The first power supply I bought was not programmed for the power supply. I called the helpdesk for the upper doors, they also couldn't program and suggested that the keypad might be bad and that I would come back and order another. The second couldn't program either Powerhead or Help Line. BTW I have two remote openers in my car that work and prove that the powerhead is receiving a signal. The overhead hotline suggested I call my local overlay door dealer to have the keyboard checked. The local

Change battery every 30 days

We bought this keyboard approx. We bought it for two reasons. 1- if for some reason we had no other way to get to our house. 2- so that the maid can enter the house without handing over the key. The only time it's used is when the maid shows up every two weeks. She shows up, it doesn't work. I swap batteries. She can get into the next house on her next visit. On the next visit it doesn't work again. I'll change the batteries again. Maybe she'll stop by on her next visit. It's been like this for

Typical Genie Quality

While it works reasonably well, it's just another low quality Genie product. The top door is another Genie trademark. Sometimes the door works and sometimes it doesn't, but since this happens with more powerful triggers built into cars, as well as devices that come with openers, I assume the source of the problem is in the opener itself. The installation is a godsend. Following the instructions that came with the device did not help. Genie has some of the worst customer service people around…
