This Raid Rocks: Data Storage

I like the security and speed of the 1+0 configuration. I removed my old drives from my old Mac Pro and used them with my new MacBook Pro. Now I have 4T safe fast data storage only the price of the case and software!

Blackmailer! on NAS

A message pops up saying you need to update your drivers. When you update a driver, you get a 14-day countdown and a link to pay for the updated driver. I complained to tech support, they said you don't have to pay the full $119.99 per year, you could get a $79.99 discount. The ultimate ransomware that tells you you have 14 days to pay for the driver or it will stop working! NOTHING in the description says you have to pay to renew it every year. I've had mine since March 2020 and in April 2021…

Both product and service suck!

A similar 9TB hard drive from OWC failed after two years and was not supported. company sucks. Don't take my word for it, read their BBB rating, it's 1 star with only a lot of complaints!

Great value for a RAID enclosure

Great price, very quick install. Elegant design and very high performance thanks to USB 3.1 Gen 2. It is currently used to store backups and media and is ideal for this purpose.
