Arrived on time, shiny and new. Wiped with a towel and driven the dough to clean it; it made a nice pasta. The next day I was so excited to try again. Unfortunately, a dent in the roller blade began shedding thin metal shavings and discoloring the paste. At the same time, a second scratch appeared. Vigorously sweeping, scrubbing, and repeating the dough resulted in more and more silvery-gray shavings on my pasta. Basically useless; not chewing metal with my food.

This is a great inexpensive pasta maker. If you're thinking about making your own pasta creations, it's easy to use and does its job well. Some users have complained that the numbers on the thinning pen do not match the actual numbers. That's true, but you don't actually need to see the number, just look straight at the whole numbers and pins and you'll figure it out very quickly. It's hard to clean. Good for the price. For the price it's like 5 stars but there are still a few downsides that you won't find in a higher end car. It works and doesn't stick and cuts sheets, linguine and angel hair if that's the right word. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because you can't submerge it in water without noticing rust on the inside, not the surface of the paste. This worked well for my first pasta roller.
