OXO 11107900LOW Grips Square Turner Review

I needed a potato masher for my nonstick skillet and have had good luck with OXO in the past. I used this pusher once and then put it in a goodwill donation box. Too much pressure, too little space between the teeth. Difficult to clean, not easy to wash off. I ended up having to use a toothbrush to get the potatoes out of the little cracks. I'm reusing my 50 year old crusher that my mom gave me when I left home. I think I'll go back to pureeing in a stainless steel pot.

Every time I order an OXO kitchen product I get this almost childlike dizzy feeling. Probably because every OXO product I've ever owned has lasted for years and exceeded my expectations. It's a spatula, so it's probably hard to screw up, but this one ladles and pours well and washes out with no issues. You'll obviously need another kitchen tool (a spoon or something like a spatula) to scoop out all that delicious soup/stew/whatever you're scooping out of the pot, as the ladle just doesn't have…

The spaghetti server that came with the dinnerware set I received as a wedding present many years ago broke recently and I needed a new one. I had a lot of experience with OXO products so I ordered this with the expectation that it wouldn't be an exception. Indeed it has done its job well and looks solid and well made.
